The Catholic Education Foundation is proud to award this year’s Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship to seven students attending Catholic schools in Wyandotte County.

The recipients of the Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship for the 2025-26 school year are:

• Victor Villegas, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
• Angel Negrete, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
• Samadhi Angeles, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
• Gabriela Martinez, St. Patrick Catholic School
• Fabian Gayosso, St. Patrick Catholic School
• Dasha Sauza, Resurrection Catholic School

Established at CEF in 2006, Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarships benefit students in Wyandotte County Catholic schools who are heading into their 8th grade year. Students are nominated by their school principals based on how they exemplify a caring heart and a dedication to community service.
