The Catholic Education Foundation is pleased to award this year’s Antoinette Berkel Memorial Scholarships. Established to provide tuition assistance for selected students attending Catholic schools in Wyandotte County, these scholarships support students who demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to community involvement. Each year, Catholic Education Foundation awards these scholarships to seventh-grade students entering eighth grade.

Charlie Berkel established this scholarship in 2006 in memory of his wife, Antoinette Berkel, to bring encouragement and support to young people seeking a Catholic education. Through this lasting legacy, the Berkel family continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families in our community.
