Right now, our faith and dedication to Catholic education is shining brighter than ever before. Students throughout our Catholic schools are preparing to celebrate the resurrection at Easter and many are receiving the sacrament of confirmation.
Our hearts are filled with hope and a spirit of renewal as we reflect on this record-breaking year. Thanks to your generosity, CEF has more than doubled the amount of funding it's providing over the past five years. For the 2023-24 school year, CEF awarded $4.6 million in scholarships to nearly 1,800 students throughout northeast Kansas.
Support from the Catholic Education Foundation goes beyond financial assistance; it instills hope, fosters growth and nurtures the spirit.
Just as Easter brings new life, CEF scholarships offer a beacon of hope to families grappling with financial uncertainty. This economy is taking a toll on families in our community. Your support gives families stability, opportunities and a sense of belonging.
This consistent support has helped stabilize and strengthen enrollment growth at many of our Catholic schools. This year, enrollment grew by 6% at St. Paul Catholic School in Olathe.
"Being able to tell families that we have assistance available through CEF is the best feeling in the world."
- Jenny Yankovich, principal at St. Paul Catholic School
Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year is underway and it’s clear that the need for financial assistance continues to grow.
Spring is the best time to renew your support for Catholic education. The gift you make today ensures that every child has access a safe, faith-filled learning environment where they have the chance to succeed and develop a relationship with Christ.
