Love is in the air and was recently on display as Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese celebrated Catholic Schools Week (CSW). This annual celebration, observed January 29 - February 3, included special events for students and families and highlighted the many ways our schools instill the importance of faith, academic excellence and service.

From competing in spelling bees and learning about vocations to hosting breakfast with grandparents and VIPs and candlemas liturgy, our Catholic schools shone brightly during Catholic Schools Week.

Students at St. Paul Catholic School in Olathe raised $1,454 for CEF scholarships through their Catholic Schools Week Pie in the Face fundraiser.

“Catholic Schools Week celebrates a Catholic education," said Jenny Yankovich, St. Paul's principal, "and what better organization to support than one that makes a Catholic education possible for any students that want one!”
