The Catholic Education Foundation is proud to award this year’s Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship to six students attending Catholic schools in Wyandotte County.

The recipients of the Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship for the 2024-25 school year are:

• Carlo Castillo, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
• Liliana Garcia, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
• Ashley Resendiz, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
• Oskar Galvan, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
• Lizette “Victoria” Hernandez, Resurrection Catholic School
• Landon Weissman, St. Patrick Catholic School

Established at CEF in 2006, Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarships benefit students in Wyandotte County Catholic schools who are heading into their 8th grade year. Students are nominated by their school principals based on how they exemplify a caring heart and a dedication to community service.
