The Catholic Education Foundation is proud to award this year’s Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship to five students attending Catholic schools in Wyandotte County. 

The recipients of the Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarship for the 2023-24 school year are: 

• Tirso Torres, Christ the King Catholic School
• Mario Caro, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic School
• Jared Pineda, Our Lady of Unity Catholic School
• Graciela Jimenez, Resurrection Catholic School
• Blake Meyers, St. Patrick Catholic School

Established at CEF in 2006, Antoinette D. Berkel Memorial Scholarships benefit students in Wyandotte County Catholic schools who are heading into their 8th grade year. Students are nominated by their school principals based on how they exemplify a caring heart and a dedication to community service.
