Each year, The Independent ranks and recognizes the top 10 charitable events in the greater Kansas City community. Thanks to the generosity of our CEF community, our 2022 Gaudeamus benefit gala was recently ranked the #2 charitable event in Kansas City!

This is the second year that Gaudeamus has ranked #2 and the fourth year it has ranked in the top five.

A celebration of the Catholic Education Foundation’s 25th anniversary, this year’s Gaudeamus recognized the organization’s founders and highlighted the impact CEF scholarships have had on students, schools and communities. Held on October 29, 2022, the benefit gala raised more than $2.4 million towards scholarships for students in need. See the videos and highlights from the 2022 gala at cefgala.org.
